What information do you provide when requesting a vehicle offer?
You provide contact details, vehicle information and the vehicle’s collection location when you make an inquiry. The calculator asks about the year, make, model, condition, mileage and ownership documents, together with your name, phone number, email address and location details.
Your inquiry can also include information you send by email. Provide the information needed to explain the vehicle and your request. Avoid including unrelated identity documents, payment-card details or other sensitive information in a general message.
Why do we use your inquiry information?
We use the information to assess your vehicle inquiry, contact you about an offer and discuss collection. If you accept a purchase, the information supports the agreed sale and pickup. Sending an inquiry starts a conversation; it does not confirm a purchase or appointment.
Where do we keep vehicle inquiries?
We keep vehicle inquiries in a customer relationship management system, or CRM, and in email. These records contain the details you provide and communications about the inquiry. Our CRM provider is based in the United States. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the country where it is handled.
How long do we retain inquiry information?
Our planned CRM retention period for vehicle inquiries is two years from submission. Email correspondence is stored separately and remains in our mailbox until deleted. The CRM retention period does not automatically delete email copies.
You can contact us at [email protected] to request deletion of information associated with your inquiry. Identify the inquiry so that we can locate the relevant records.
Who receives information needed for the service?
We share relevant contact, vehicle and location details with the business handling the vehicle assessment and collection. That business uses the details to contact you about the requested service. This sharing is part of handling the inquiry you ask us to arrange.
What website statistics tools are included?
This website does not currently load analytics or visitor statistics tools.
How can you raise a privacy request?
Email [email protected] to ask about information linked to your inquiry, request a correction or raise a privacy concern. Identify the inquiry and explain your request. You can also ask about access, deletion or changing your contact preferences through that address.
